• Baños de Molgas
Spa resort of Roman origin. The current building was built in the XIX century for the use of its oligo-metallic and sulphurous springs.
• Xunqueira de Ambía
The history of Xunqueira de Ambía was centred on its collegiata church.
The Romanesque styled church shows also parts of other periods.
The tower base has its origin in the Romanesque period and its upper part belongs to the Baroque.
The cloister dates from the XVI century and shows some remains ofthe early Romanesque cloister.
The Visigothic influenced church of Santa Eufemia de Ambía probably dates back to the IX century.
At San Vitorio you can see petroglyphics nearby the "cruceiro" (granite cross) besides the old chapel.
• Allariz
In its entirety Allariz is one of the most important historic and artistic Galician villages.
It was royal court during the Middle Ages, amongst others of Alfonso X. Recommended visits:
- The baroque styled Royal Monastery of Santa Clara of the XVIII Century.
- The churches of Santiago, San Pedro and San Esteban
(Romanesque period).
